Agartala: Tripura to get Rs. 2000 crores under Jal Jeevan Mission

The Chief Minister of Tripura Dr Manik Saha said that centre has approved Rs. 2000 crores for Tripura under the Jal Jeevan Mission 2023-2024.

The Chief Minister mentioned in a social media post that the fund was more than total Rs. 1930 crore received by Tripura in the last three years.

Mr Saha also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister for Jal Shakti Gajendra Singh Shekhawat for sanctioning the fund.

Dr Saha claimed that the fund sanctioned by the centre would ensure piped drinking water to more households.
