Guwahati: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati will be organizing a three day long Research and Industrial Conclave Integration 2023 starting from May 14.

The event will provide a platform for showcasing innovative products, student projects, and prototypes emphasizing collaboration between business and academia.

The theme of the event is Green Intelligence for Sustainability.

The main objective of the event is showcasing the ongoing research activities of research group from different institutions across the country. It will be an attempt to connect industry and academia for exchanging programs and finding solutions.

Speaking to Business Northeast student Convener Imran Hussain said anyone having products and prototypes with a technical perspective can take part in this event. People from school, college, industrialists can participate in it. Those products and prototypes will be encouraged that will have some scientific outlook and have the capacity to bring change in society. Local industries like handloom, handicrafts and products based on cultural technology will also be prioritized.
The start-ups taking part in the event has to be registered.

The theme of the event is a message that along with technological advancement sustainability is also important.

Registration in the portal is essential for participation in the conclave. Both registered and unregistered start-ups can participate and pitch for funding opportunities available in the conclave

For Schools and colleges to attend the event, they have to send a list of the students forwarded by principal to research_conclave@iitg.ac.in
